FCC History
Foshang Construction Company was founded in 1993 by the Father MSc. Eng.Nesar Ahmad Salimi and his sons' Toofan Salimi, Yoresh Salimi and Noman Salimi.
It all began when in 1993-1995 the demand increased for the construction services, Residential homes in particular and the company was appointed by UNDP for local constructions setvices in Herat Province.
In 2001 Foshang was one of the first private construction companies who initiated works as prime contractor for international donors and was expanded in to general construction buildings and completed several Construction Services like Police Academy Accommodation complex In Kabul, Traffic Police Headquarter building in Kabul, Taloqan Police Headquarter in Takhar Province, Police Head Quarter in Herat Province, Rehabilitation of headquarter for German police, Schools in different Provinces Specifically in Herat, Nangarhar, Mazar-e-Sharif, Maidan Shar and residential Buildings/Guest Houses.
Meanwhile Rehabilitation took place for the big Loya Jirga for the government of Afghanistan and it was finished within 6 weeks which was a great achievement for the company and as a result of efficient manner for completing the project the American ambassador Mr, Zulmay Khalil Zad and Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Afghanistan and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Mr. Lakhdar Brahimi appreciated companVs work and an appreciation award certificate was issued to Foshang Construction Company.
Later on, the company continues in a systematic way on vertical, horizontal, irrigational, Technical and mechanical structures having its main registered office in Kabul, Taimany watt, Afghanistan.
